My name is Naw Say Phaw Waa. I’m working at Pact Myanmar as a senior communication officer. For the past years, I have been working as a reporter in the media ﬁeld and have a long record of news publication at a well recognized weekly journal “The Myanmar Times” both for English and Burmese editions.
Counting other experiences, I have worked as a ﬁxer for world recognized broadcasting media like Aljazeera and ARD German TV/Radio. So, I am quite familiar with not only print but also broadcasting media and able to coordinate for developing media strategy for an organization. While I was still pursuing my ﬁrst degree in Yangon Distance University, I worked as an assistant researcher for Myanmar Dana Business Magazine and developing a database for any particular topics and news analysis was my usual task and able to build database and information to use for presentation for donors and other stakeholders.
I got scholarship from Prospect Burma and graduated with a Bachelor Degree of Communications majoring in Mass Communication from an international University in Thailand. Furthermore, my ﬁrst Degree is majoring in Law, Dagon University (Yangon) and have a quite well understanding of the overall of communication laws which can be an advantage for strategizing and planning for organizational communication.
