My name is Aung Phyo Thant, currently working at Finn Church Aid, which is a Finland, based INGO as a program coordinator. My parents sent me from Yangon to Mae Sot in 2009, which was life altering moments. Being a part of migrant community, I came to aware of myself and started asking the question of what I want to be in next 10 years that question turned me into a different person. Since I realized that my dream is to become an educator , I started applying a scholarship from Prospect Burma. As great things never comes smoothly, I was rejected for two times. However, I did not have any intention to give up for I was striving for it. Therefore, I persisted applying for a scholarship and finally my wish was granted. Prospect Burma awarded a scholarship to me in 2013 to study Bachelor of Art in Philosophy, Politics and Economics at Rangsit University, Thailand that become my another turning point.
