Myanmar has tremendous resources and strategic potential, but is lacking the skilled, educated workforce it needs to repair the country’s damaged infrastructure, and support the peaceful rebuilding of civil society after decades of conflict.

We help enthusiastic individuals determine the path for their future. We support them in their education abroad to gain much-needed skills and qualifications which they simply cannot get at home. We promote priority subjects including healthcare, IT, the environment, engineering, education and more.

Our proven post-high school educational programmes benefit 100-200 pre-university students each year. Over the past 25 years, Prospect Burma has awarded over 2,500 scholarships to more than 1,400 students. We have a significant network of alumni working in numerous sectors across every state and region in Myanmar.
