Hannah completed her Masters degree in Clinical Tropical Microbiology at University College London in 2000. She worked for a number of years as an analyst and consultant to the healthcare industry in London and in Boston, MA, before refocussing her career on the International Development sector. In 2009 she joined a small charity focussing on poverty reduction in Ethiopia, working to increase the organisation’s income and expand its in-country activities, providing her with an in-depth insight into the key components for successful programme management. Hannah is currently working as Executive Director at Prospect Burma, a role she has held since November 2014, and is highly motivated by the work the charity does to enable Burmese people to effect change in their country.
In her spare time, Hannah is a keen runner, and often takes part in sponsored events to raise money for Prospect Burma. She performed in the opening ceremony at the 2012 London Olympics and also likes to cook.
